Famous for its historical heritage and unique character, the city of Vilnius is celebrating its 700th anniversary while also undergoing significant changes. Some of the fragments of life caught on film are no longer there. However, the short not only bears witness to what has faded into oblivion, but also glimpses into what is yet to come. This poetic work is based on Time Passes through the City, a portrait film by Almantas Grikevičius that has already become a classic; this builds a bridge of time between two different generations of filmmakers who cherish the city of Vilnius.
