22 July International jazz project: Kęstutis Vaiginis & Joonas Haavisto (Lithuania/Finland) at the Veranda sitting-room/bar.

In the works for more than 10 years, this project showcases versatile, mature musicians who are well known and recognised in their own countries as well as in Europe and beyond. The artists are united by creativity, spontaneous improvisations, original compositions, jazz standards characterised by melodiousness and subtle harmony and energy, and a musical taste that surprises music connoisseurs and critics alike with its simplicity and sincerity.

This music cannot be labelled – it has to be heard and enjoyed. These are musicians who participate in various projects, from jazz duets or quartets to chamber or symphony orchestras, and who play solo to reveal and supplement their creative freedom with original creations that add grace to unexpected and colourful jazz improvisations. During this concert, the musicians will present their latest programme, which they recorded at the legendary Rainbow recording studio in Norway.
