Iron Wolf Feast at Amatininkų Užeiga

Amatininkų Užeiga is one of the oldest pubs in Vilnius, but few people know that the origins of the current Amatininkų Užeiga began with the Iron Wolf Café, which was opened in 1989 at the very foot of Gediminas Hill.

Inspired by this almost legendary story, we have prepared a special menu for Vilnius’s 700th anniversary and called it the “Iron Wolf Feast”, as if inviting you back to the days of the dukes, when Vilnius first began.

Iron Wolf Feast:

  • Pork hock – reminiscent of hunted prey
  • Cucumbers with honey and curd cheese – a popular dessert from the days of the dukes
  • A jug of honey gira (kvass) – an allusion to the mead that was drunk abundantly in the old days
