Exhibition “Discovering the new while cherishing the old”

We kindly invite you to the festive concert and exhibitions "Discovering the new while cherishing the old".

We congratulate choir and orchestra conductor, pedagogue, composer, music professor Laurynas Vakaris Lopas on his 75th birthday and invite him to a concert during which the maestro will perform not only classics, but also two of his own works, conducted by the string orchestra of the Vilnius Broniaus Jonuš School of Music.

We remember the folk artist Birutė Antanina Janavičienė, who made Vilnius and Lithuania famous even as far as Japan. At the exhibition, you will see the longest ribbon of Lithuanian unity for the world, which the folk artist wove for 100 days. This ribbon, a record holder, was uploaded to the Vilnius TV Tower on February 15, 1999 to commemorate the Lithuanian national holiday - February 16. The length of the ribbon is 326.47 m, the width 3.5 cm and weight 12 kg.

The Ribiškes community congratulates Vilnius on its 700th birthday, and presents the ribbon - Wishes for Vilnius - which was started during the St. John's Day(Midsummer's day).

We invite you to visit the exhibition of ceramic tiles. The idea of ceramic tiles is to share the beauty of Vilnius reflected in ceramics in all periods of its 700 years of existence.
